Additional Rand Mutual Assurance Cover

In our previous newsletter we discussed the RMA, and what they cover. In this newsletter we will focus on the additional cover that they provide.

Commuting Journey Policy or (CJP)

RMA has implemented a new policy for Employees traveling between home and work to provide cover for accidental injury ,fatal injury, disablement, or loss of life while traveling on a direct route from home to work and from work back home.

This additional policy offers a wide range of cover, and it is specifically for the commute between work and home. The policy covers the Accidental Injury, disablement, or Fatality of an accident whilst traveling privately to and from work.

Here are some of the Benefits that are covered under this policy:

Medical Benefits

100% of the medical costs are covered relating to the Injury

Temporary total Disablement

Employees are paid up to 75% of their salary while booked off due to their injury

Permanent Disablement

Once-off Lump sum paid to spouse 1-30% for assessed disablement

Monthly pension- dependant on injury and salary earned at time of accident

Death Benefits

Once off Lump sum paid to spouse

Monthly Pension, Funeral costs and more
